as i said before, u can say that this side is way too English, too old, and prob a bit of a carbon copy of the England World Cup winning squad.. but we'll just have to see.. and that's all part of the anticipation..
Monday did feel like Monday.. u'd been surprised to still see caravans in Dunedin.. yes Invercargill is charming but boring, but there's the Catlins and Queenstown.. so plenty to do till Tuesday.. but with the departure of the caravans, it all seemed grey and normal again.. which will be fine after a while.. a memorable weekend nevertheless..
and to think that come Christchurch, the British crowd will simply explode to a number far greater than it already is.. good grief... can't wait.. hopefully they won't outnumber the New Zealand fans.. which shouldn't be if that ballot system works.. most of the time.. but i think there are def more All Blacks fans than Otago or Taranaki, etc. fans, than the press give credit.. but let's face it, those Brits are rowdy at another level.. maybe Brazilians or Indians cheering on the cricket are as fanatical, but they don't really travel around the world as much as the Brits.. which makes the Brits the undisputed fans of fans..
have my last exam tomorrow.. just sometimes wish it was earlier with this much rugby but it's not such a big deal.. it's uni after all and u should be studying something u enjoy.. still it is a bit stressful having to drag it all out..
p/s u don't need the All Blacks to give ya massive sporting days.. although that's not an excuse for the All Blacks not to win :) Kiwi golfer Michael Campbell has won the prestigious US Open.. even non-followers of golf know the US Open is BIG.. and for Mikey to win it is just incredible for NZ.. it's up there with the '87 World Cup, America's Cup, Sarah Ulmer, Bob Charles, and other massive Kiwi achievements..
